Rosalie`s style is inherently sophisticated, blended with a very down-to-earth realism. Her artistic nature was nourished through the years by extensive travels in all the continental states, as well as more than a dozen countries in different parts of the world. Her adventurous nature led her to many magnificent cathedrals, museums and natural wonders of the world. Those experiences enable her to creatively express design, color and incredible perspective in her paintings.
She believes her expressions on canvas are directly due to God`s grace and for the past ten years has referenced meaningful scripture on everything she paints.
Since 2003 she has been extensively involved in her local church painting scenery for productions as well as Vacation Bible School.

Born in New England and raised in a 200 year old saltbox home, Rosalie spent most of her summers in the `50`s on Cape Cod and other vacations in an old family farmhouse amid 100 acres of Maine timberland. Appreciative of the Lord`s wonderous nature, and blessed with an insatiable wanderlust, she traveled extensively throughout her life.
After ten years in West Palm Beach, Florida, with trips to the Bahamas, South America and Europe; she moved to Mesa, Arizona. The extreme variations of topography at the Grand Canyon, change of seasons, and a burning desire to capture it on canvas inspired her to begin painting by asking the Lord to "make this as beautiful as what I see."
A career move to Europe nourished her artistic nature with visits to great cathedrals and museums in nine countries, and study at the Hertzfeld School of Art, Weisbaden, Germany. She returned to So.California, accepting a position covering nine western states with conventions around the country.
Upon moving to Texas, her love of the Bible and fascination with the historic turn-of-the century churches in the Hill Country led to the birth of Pyetzki Prints and production of lithographs and potcards of her layered graphite drawings. It was then she began referencing scripture on all works as her means of spreading the Word of God.
After moving to Destin, Florida, she was blessed with a ministry teaching art to four children that soon evolved into a home studio where she now has ten art students. Recently she was commissioned by her church to transform the education center into a jungle theme with lifesize murals. The first one was completed in June, 2007, and measures 8' x 16'.
Her latest venture consists of large acrylic, impressionistic paintings of famous places around the world that can be seen on this website under "world series".
Several pieces are featured in a 38 room Victorian home, built in the early 1900's called North Hill Mansion in Pensacola, FL.
