View Linda's Website Landscapes and Abstracts   Linda's intimate relationship with the rivers, marshes and mountains of the Pacific Northwest developed while she hiked  and rafted her home region over the past 30 years. What style and medium you ask? “Well” she says “whatever the landscape dictates.  Reading the river is not just for navigation.  The rivers, mountains and trees tell you a different story each time.  I watch and listen closely while they speak.  Their tongues can be oil, pastel or water media.  Their mood can be subdued or loud colors, impressionistic or abstract.  Mixing and matching to tell their stories is my job. Linda lives in beautiful Shady Cove, Oregon.  You can often find her painting on the banks of the Rogue River or in the fields of the Rogue Valley.
